Types of Diabetic Retinopathy-
1. Non-Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy (NPDR)
If you have been diagnosed with NPDR (Non-Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy ) then your Doctor will only keep you under observation. The doctor will advise you to control your blood sugar level and your retina might be checked every 3-6 months to see whether your Diabetic Retinopathy is advancing or progressing.
2. Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy (PDR)
If you have been diagnosed with PDR ( Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy ) then you will be advice for laser caller PRP (Pan-Retinal Photocoagulation).
