It can be dominant, recessive or somewhere in between. The strongest indicator for developing type 1 diabetes is the IDDM1 gene in chromosome 6. 🙂
Developmental Biologist Bruce Lipton phd has found and proven that genes are merely only on and off switches. The only thing that determines whether you will get it or not is your belief of it. Does your family tell you that you’re likely to get it. Have multiple people in your family gotten it? Do you worry about getting it. If you believe you will get it, then you’re very likely to get it. He explains this in depth in his book and lecture of “The Biology of Belief”.
For those looking to cure type 1 diabetes you should also make sure you do NOT consume milk, or cheese. Though you shouldnt be eating/ drinking these if you’re on a vegan diet, its exceptionally important as a type 1 diabetic. See the animal milk cells look just like the beta cells in your pancreas and your body cant really tell the difference. And animals and their byproducts are seen as a threat to your body, they are attacked by your cells in order to get rid of the threat. Remember that the animal milk cells and the beta cells in your pancreas look almost identical, so eventually your body will begin to attack your beta cells in your pancreas and this is the most common cause of type 1 diabetes. It is an auto immune disease. One you get rid of the animal products then you should try to water fast. The reason is because autophagy is a recycling process that your body starts after a few days of fasting. This process begins to remove all the damaged and dead cells and replace all the bad stuff with brand new cells and restores your body and eventually restores you to a brand new state. This process will clean up the pancreas and reverse your disease. Its also quite helpful to take pancreas stimulating / cleansing herbs while you’re fasting to help speed up the process. Some of these medicinal herbs are: Dream Herb (Calea Ternifolia), Cascara Sagrada, Sage, and Huereque.
Also if you’re a brand new Type 1 diabetic and you’re still in the honeymoon stage, you can easily reverse it and never have to deal with this dangerous disease if you immediately go on a raw vegan diet. A raw vegan diet has been proven to reverse the disease while its in the honeymoon stage before its becomes full on type 1 diabetes. So if you do this before its too late you can cure your disease within a few weeks of getting the disease.

@MeatfortoeatALT It’s easier to just stop the process that causes the damage to the insulin producing beta-cells, like somehow removing the “memory cells” in the immune system, so the body can’t remember that it’s supposed to attack those cells. 🙂
Once you get the transplant you will still have to take anti rejection medication to stop infection and such, but you will still have to take just as much medication as when you had diabetes. I would prefer to wait until a cure is discovered were daily medication is not needed.

Hey everyone, wants to know more about treating diabetes the greatest results that i’ve ever had is called the Diabetes Crusher Tactic (look for it on google) without a doubt the no.1 course that I’ve tried.
As a survivor of a k/p transplant in December 2009 the word cure sure seems tossed around a lot here. It’s a slight misappropriation of the term. Yes, currently I no longer have type 1 diabetes. However I do have a litany of side effects from my medications. So I’ve exchanged one set of symptoms and circumstances for others. Not that I am complaining because I am so very grateful. However, the term cure is very subjective.

I have a question did you use Himalayan pink salt or sea salt or supplement with some type of electrolytes during the fast? I took some pink salt and immediately my blood sugar increased by almost 100 points while on the fast Ithought it would have had no impact.

I can’t believe I found this all my 14 years of living my family told me there’s no cure and pancreas transplants don’t exist I feel betrayed and the fact I have to suffer like this I can’t imagine what would be like I’ve had type 1 diabetes since I was 2 and then diagnosed with nystagmus and then 8 years later diagnosed with silly acts disease basically I can only eat gluten free food. I also have lower developed optic nerves on both my eyes but primarily on my left I can’t believe I’ve been lied to my whole life?
Wow. I’m a type 1 diabetics. I’m 39 years old and in the last five years I have gone down hill. I struggle keeping my BSL down and in a result of that I have already had cataract surgery on both eyes, I have had 3 toes and the slide of my right foot amputated, I wake up everyday hoping to die! I tried to end my life last month and have spiraled into a depressive state. I also suffer vertigo, low blood pressure and anxiety. I tick all the boxes for a transplant but I don’t know how to go about getting on a waiting list. If I don’t get help ASAP I will probably be dead within 5 years apparently. Gosh… first I’ve heard of this transplant. I’ve heard and seen a few cases of folks developing cancer ( and losing their life ) from taking “ meds to prevent transplant rejection”. They said they were advised this info prior to transplant surgery. I’m thinking … heart , liver , kidney transplants buy you quality time . But pancreas ?? I’ve seen so call “brittle”diabetics live nicely into their late 80s with no cancer .
