What I Eat in a Day – Type 1 Diabetic Edition

Welcome back and thanks for watching!

Here is a video of what I eat in a day. This was quite a light day for me and I have recently started eating a lot more. I have began Intermittent fasting and will do an updated video once I have been doing it for about a week or so and have enough footage.

I have listed calories, carbs and protein after each meal.

Winner of a video, I been tryin to find out about “what can people with diabetes eat” for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of – Eeyiden Peerless Equalizer – (search on google )?

A cast iron and a new food mandolin that is sharp and comes with a hand guard. Always use the hand guard. Also, cut the vegetable into manageable sections so that the weight distributes properly. I sliced the top of a knuckle doing the same damn thing. Was cutting a carrot, and it slipped. I yelled, “David, why are you so f**** dumb!”

k, just putting it out there, I think most people are mistaken with type 2, with type 1 you can eat anything if you boulas the correct amount, I’m just saying this to some people who may be confused and are offering comments that don’t particularly affect a type 1 diabetic. Sorry if I offended anyone, just wanted to make this clear ( keep in mind I have only started the video but I went to the comments so I don’t know is she’s on a diet )

You need to understand that Focus on Diatery Management should not be on Calories but on limitations or elimination of Carbohydrates and Sugars. Second, taking refined foodstuff like sausages is not beneficial since main ingredient is starch, carbohydrates and sugars. Same applies to seasoning condiments from factories like garlic powder that’s splashed with corn starch and garlic flavours. You need to focus more on glycemic index of your daily diatery food needs, but, ignore calories. That’s a challenge because it’s industrial commercial food safety issue that rarely speak the truth. When carbohydrates and sugars are eliminated, you have good chance to use less insulin, this will cut your overall cost on management and improve your health.

You need to get yourself some cutting gloves and use them when using mandoline and other sharp tools like knives that can cut you. You would not have cut your hand with a cutting glove.

My good friend suggested this https://t.co/kQ5Ho0EKEd for my weight and diabetes. I`d been following a rigid workout and diet plan. I had been able to reduce 35 points from my blood sugar levels right after a day on the diet program. Right after 4 days, I lost 60 points from my blood sugar levels. It has been effective for me personally. I am happy that my blood glucose is much better already…

Type 2 been on insulin for 20 years, my carb ratio to insulin is such that keeps my blood sugar on the lower side due to proliferative diabetic retinopathy, macular edema, etc.  My weight is in normal range for my age, I’m in my 50s.
